About the opportunity
The People & Culture Adviser exists to provide accurate and timely support and advice to employees and leaders across all activities associated with the employee lifecycle. It plays an active coordination role between the People & Performance teams, the rest of People & Culture, DoT Payroll and the wider SRLA business.
This role will see you;
- Manage the HR Helpdesk inbox by escalating, assigning, and closing out employee/leader queries in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide consultancy advice, guidance and solutions to management and staff on a broad range of human resource issues including policies, frameworks, processes, employment conditions, performance management, recruitment, learning and development, workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and HR legislation.
- Proactively update policies, procedures and intranet materials to ensure that the business is clear on our HR processes, and can self-service wherever possible.
- Support key activities associated with the employee lifecycle, and in particular the employee offboarding process.
