**What’s the job about?**

Ansarada is seeking a proactive **Compliance Officer** to lead our compliance initiatives and manage critical processes that keep our organization secure and aligned with global standards.

In this role, you will implement and oversee policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards, with a primary focus on ISO 27001. You will conduct audits of internal controls and evaluate risks associated with the company’s technology infrastructure and data protection measures.

Additionally, you will manage contract data requirements, including creation, tracking, and maintaining contractual obligations to ensure seamless alignment with our operational goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of vendor and customer contracts, including preparation, revision, negotiation, and analysis.
- Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms and help to facilitate GDPR compliance in data processing agreements.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), Software as a Service (SaaS) Agreements, and other partnerships.
- Write and distribute contract letters, communications, and notices.
- Ensure that all contract information is accurate, current, and aligned ISO 27001 requirements and help facilitate steps to ensure GDPR compliance.
- Support the development of legal templates and best practices for contract management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a contract management strategy.
- Coordinate with legal and internal teams to handle compliance inquiries related to customer contracts.
- Ensure timely and accurate contract approval processes, with special attention to data protection and security clauses.

**Regulatory Compliance and Audits**:

- Track, interpret, and ensure adherence to laws and regulations impacting the business, including ISO 27001 standards.
- Conduct regular audits of organizational operations to assess compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform initial reviews of alleged compliance violations and escalate findings to executive leadership as needed.
- Conduct internal audits related to information security, data protection, and risk management to ensure compliance with ISO 27001, and other relevant IS standards.

**Information Systems Audits and Risk Management**:

- Plan and execute audits of the organization’s information systems, assessing risks related to data integrity, reliability, efficiency, and security.
- Ensure the organization's technology platforms and procedures comply with ISO 27001 requirements, evaluating internal controls and security measures.
- Analyze audit findings, prepare reports, and collaborate with management to develop data security and risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee compliance with information security audit standards, guidelines, and best practices.

**Contract Management and Review**:

- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring consistency with management goals, and ISO 27001 policies.
- Handle the acquisition, distribution, and storage of contracts, maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with legal obligations.
- Generate and audit a centralized contract-resource file to ensure appropriate procedural controls are in place, supporting ongoing data privacy and security initiatives.
- This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, particularly in the areas of data protection and information security (ISO 27001), as well as strong organizational and communication skills to drive compliance efforts across the business.
