We are excited to announce this great opportunity to join our Planning Land Use Strategy Housing & Infrastructure (PLUSHI) division.

**The Role**

The **Manager Infrastructure Planning** leads key projects within the Strategy and Implementation team including managing the Western Sydney Growth Centers Biodiversity Offsets Program, the development and implementation of infrastructure assessment and governance process required for the delivery of infrastructure grant programs.

Collaboration with state delivery agencies, local councils, and industry is necessary to ensure infrastructure is delivered in the right place at the right time to support new homes and employment growth implementation of infrastructure funding programs, coordination of land use and infrastructure strategies and infrastructure prioritisation and delivery.

**What you will bring to the role**

Manage project budgets, support the delivery of infrastructure under agreed governance, assurance and funding processes with sound understanding of financial forecasting over the forward estimates required for annual parameter technical adjustments to the budget in line with NSW Treasury process.

You will provide advice on Cabinet sensitive matters, and Questions on Notice relating to strategic infrastructure planning and Western Sydney Growth Centres Biodiversity Offsets Program and high quality, accurate and timely advice to the Director and Executive Director to resolve complex cross government policy and infrastructure issues impacting the delivery of housing, infrastructure and public spaces.

**Essential requirements**
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in town planning, economics, environmental management, property or a related field
- Understanding of land use or infrastructure planning, economics and project delivery
