NSW Sales Manager (M/F/d)

**YOUR TASKS**:

- You will need to set clear goals and well-founded plans for the NSW Sales Territory to drive a strong growth agenda that creates long term success for the business.
- In this key role, you will be reporting directly to the MD and form part of the distributed National Sales Team, with autonomy to manage your day-to-day work.
- You will be fully responsible for account management, maximizing opportunities with your existing client base, and importantly, identifying and developing further business opportunities with new clients and projects.
- It is expected that you will drive growth by creating a positive personal presence and developing strong relationships with key customer decision makers.
- You will be spending a good deal of time in front of customers, asking questions, learning about their technical requirements to provide solutions that will add value to their business.
- You will be asked to liaise closely with your colleagues in the Melbourne based engineering team, as well as the client process engineers to design solutions that resolve safety risks and material handling challenges, as well as completing specification work on major projects.
- You will also be reporting on your own call cycles and account progress, actively using business tools like the CRM and Microsoft Office, whilst collaborating with your colleagues to deliver customer outcomes.

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- It is expected you will have a relevant degree or vocational qualification in a technical or business discipline. You also make it your business to keep abreast of the latest product innovations within your business that will benefit your customers.
- We are looking for someone who brings knowledge and evidence of driving an ambitious but measured growth plan in an industrial, technical based sales business.
- It is expected that you will bring a sound understanding of engineering and/or mechanical processes to the table, with your experience preferably focused on selling both high-value solutions, as well as components.
- Critical to your success in the early period will be your ability to get into the business to understand the products, capabilities, business drivers and engaging with the existing customer base.
- You will thrive on building trusted relationships, be it with customers, colleagues, or industry stakeholders. Of course, we will be looking for evidence of your relentless attention to detail and optimizing business outcomes by creating a positive presence and dialogue.
- You will be highly organised and goal focused, with an ability to operate in a self-directed environment, but also play an active role in the wider team success.
