Our client, **Varna Packaging,** is ready to take on the Australian market, and **this is our invitation to you to lead the charge as their Business Development Representative**
Incorporated over five decades ago in 1961, Varna Limited is the very first flexible packaging company to be established in Sri Lanka. The company was founded by Sri Lankan entrepreneur and press tycoon Esmond Wickremesinghe, the Chairman of the Lake House, home to the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon, the country’s oldest publication company.
Over the next few decades, Varna evolved into a large-scale automated operation to become one of the largest flexible packaging manufacturers in Sri Lanka, having invested in the latest cutting-edge technologies such as 9-colour gravure printing, three-layer film extrusion, solvent-based, solvent-less, and water-based lamination.

**The gig?**
Working from anywhere, you're the 'tip of the spear' in this role.
You'll be taking a brand that is highly respected overseas and establishing a solid base of long-term clients, here. You'll be repping an entire range of flexible packaging, selling to all food manufacturers and non-food manufacturers who use flexible packaging (eg. Detergent powder, fertiliser, liquid soap, face mask/cosmetic packs, confectionary, spices, meat & seafood products, snacks, chocolates) Different forms of products - reel form, three side seal bags, centre seal bags, spout pouches, retort, vacuum bags, DOY/stand up pouches. The opportunities are endless
Some leads are already in place, the Fine Foods Expo is coming shortly, and a marketing and lead generation programme will be executed from Head Office to support you.
