**The Opportunity**

On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency based in Geelong, we are looking for an
**APS4 Complaints Officer** to join the Internal Review and Complaints Team. This is a 12 month assignment, 37.5 hours per week, paying $43.82 per hour plus super.

The team prepares high level advice including letters, briefs and reports for a range of audiences and is the central point of coordination for the handling and resolution of review and complaints.

**As the APS4 Complaints Officer you will;**
- Support the coordination of complaints received including resolving at point of entry, assessing, recording and referring as required
- Contact relevant stakeholders to confirm receipt of referred complaints and gather information
- Escalate complaints in accordance with the compliant handling process
- Contribute to record keeping activities to ensure records are accurate and current
- Coordinate correspondence, briefing and reporting functions as needed

**To be considered for this role you will demonstrate;**
- Experience in a similar role with the ability to action items of a sensitive nature
- Administration skills including the ability to use MS office and records management systems
- Timely and accurate input of data
- Ability to work collaboratively and operate as an effective team member
- Previous experience working in a fast paced environment with the ability to prioritise ever-changing workloads
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
