**Firm**:
Our client is an established, centrally CBD located boutique firm with an outstanding reputation. The culture of the firm is collegial and the team support second to none, with many long serving staff members. The firms provides legal services across property (commercial and residential), commercial, construction, litigation, wills and estates, employment & workplace relations.

**About the Role**:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior lawyer to step in to a leadership role overseeing the running of a construction, property and commercial practice. Key experience sought is expertise in commercial construction and development matters as well as commercial and retail leasing and sale and purchase of commercial premises.

Key aspects of the role include devising practical solutions for clients and drafting concise, to the point, advices, delegating matters effectively to more junior solicitors and mentoring those staff to assist with developing their skillset. You will also be responsible for overseeing the residential conveyancing practice and supervising a conveyancer.

Although it is not a requirement to bring a practice as the position has a steady stream of high quality construction and development work (from a particular industry), the person must be able to maintain and build on the existing practice and client relationships.

You may be a Senior Lawyer/Special Counsel who has reached a glass ceiling in your current firm, or perhaps a Partner level lawyer looking for a change of environment.
