About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Practice Group Head to join our Commercial Banking team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of legal professionals and providing strategic advice to our business leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of legal professionals and provide strategic advice to business leaders
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to support business growth and risk management
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Provide expert advice on complex legal issues and develop solutions to mitigate risk
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and external partners
What You'll Need
  • Admitted as a solicitor with a valid practicing certificate in Australia
  • Minimum 12 years PQE with experience in commercial banking and transactional support
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including the Corporations Act and ASIC Act
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with stakeholders
