About the role
We are seeking a values-driven Mission Event Coordinator who will support Event Directors in planning and coordinating events, camps, meetings, seminars, webinars and conferences from the initial brief to final activation, on strategy, on time, and on budget. This role will support the events run by multiple divisions where necessary, while occasional supporting other national and local events when required.
You will successfully
Event Planning, Design and Implementation Lead planning, design and implementation of specific in-person and online events including:
- Liaise with all key stakeholders to plan and design events.
- Research venues and source suitable vendors for events.
- Set timelines and budgets for the event with key milestones and risks identified.
- Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities.
- Organise and manage all events details such as venue, collateral, registrations, catering, entertainment, transportation, equipment and special guests.
- Complete all necessary risk assessments and obtain relevant insurance documentation.
- Book venues and any other equipment needed for the event.
- Collaborate with all relevant internal teams for graphics, IT, finance, tech etc.
You will have
- A Working with Children Check.
- Tertiary qualifications in Event Management or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience coordinating events.
- Experience in Youth and Children’s Ministry and events (desirable).
- Demonstrated knowledge of event operations, logistics, venue management, catering.
This is a 12 month Max-Term, Full-time role located in Spring Hill, QLD. This is an award free role.
