**About Role**
As Head of Sales, ANZ, in our Global Emerging Markets (GEM) business unit you will be the regional sales leader with full accountability for driving sustainable revenue growth and sales productivity, to deliver the sales and profitability objectives of Convatec ANZ. As member of the ANZ leadership team, you will be responsible for setting the regional sales strategy, optimising Sales Force Effectiveness and CRM utilisation and driving the development of critical competitive capabilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide leadership, development, and direction to the sales team, creating a positive and motivating work environment to ensure performance excels
- Identify and implement sales strategies to consistently achieve sales and financial targets and deliver growth in strategic products and markets
- Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to develop and implement effective customer, pricing, and marketing strategies
- Nurture and develop customer relationships with high value accounts
- In partnership marketing and SFE team ensure the Sales team is trained to effectively sell on clinical, product and competitor knowledge
- Management of sales expense budgets and resource allocation
- Accountable for accurate and timely forecasting and sales input to the S&OP
- Development of annual and medium-term sale budgets
**About You**
To be successful you will have:
- Minimum 5 years experience leading multi-level sales teams across multi-franchised portfolio
- Extensive (10 plus years) experience in leading sales professionals in the Medical Devices and/or Healthcare industry
- Successfully driven revenue growth and overcome sales performance gaps
- Demonstrated leadership capability that develops, grows and promotes sales talent
- Well developed relationship building and influencing skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix structure
- A proven track record in effectively formulating and executing strategic plans
- Outstanding commercial acumen with a entrepreneurial mindset and results focus, able to identify and translate ideas into sales opportunities to deliver sustainable long-term growth in the region
- Strong customer engagement skills, with the ability to confidently communicate and develop strategic partnerships to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts
- Sound understanding of the Australian and New Zealand health systems and legislative frameworks
**Education/Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
- Postgraduate degree (MBA, Master’s) highly regarded
