Raging Waters Sydney - Team Member Support
About the role:
The Team Member Support position is to support and assist Team Members.
Team Member Support will be responsible for organising the staff canteen, selling food and drinks, facilitating the distribution of uniforms, ID cards and any other team member products to Team Members.
We are looking for mature team members who are capable of working unsupervised. We are looking for applicants who are available for weekends particularly afternoon & evening shifts. Shifts will include weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Work effectively within a team environment to provide excellent team member service and promote a positive working environment.- Organise all functions with the staff canteen and team member uniform shop.- Facilitate the distribution and return of uniforms in accordance with the needs of the business.- Assist with team member onboarding, including the issuing of name badge and ID Card access.- Have a full understanding of all procedures associated with the issue and return of all team member uniforms.- Demonstrate a full understanding of all team member uniform stock, communicating any stock level requirements to the People & Culture Director.- Organise the staff canteen by liaising with the Food & Beverage and Warehouse team to ensure sufficient stock is available.- Research and provide ideas for staff canteen items including liaising with distributors and sourcing quotes.- Coordinate the distribution of products related to team member benefits and engagement procedures.- Assist Team Members with any work-related enquiries and direct them to the relevant Manager.- Assist with sourcing quotes for purchasing of supplies and products relevant to Team Member support.- Operate the point of sale (POS) register, ensuring all goods sold are recorded.- Document any food wastage and provide information to the Food & Beverage team.- Follow labelling standards for food storage and distribution.- Required to complete any start of day and end of day duties as instructed.- Ensure all equipment is cleaned thoroughly after use and turned off.- Ensure all areas are always kept clean and left clean and tidy at the end of the day.- Assist with administration tasks as directed.- Assist in other areas associated as required.- Assist with cleanliness within the team member support areas including sweeping, rubbish pick-up, clearing and cleaning tables, emptying rubbish bins and cleaning work areas.- To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by the People & Culture Director or member of the Management Team
Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):
- Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.- Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment- Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours.- Report WHS incidents, injuries and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs.- Promote proactive hazard/ near miss reporting. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager and the People & Culture Director.- Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety.
Languages: Fluent English

- Food Handling certification

- Ability to plan, prioritise and organise work, both on an individual and team basis, within a set timetable and in a team environment of change and competing demands.-
