Raging Waters Sydney - Retail Coordinator
About the role:
The Retail Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations, safety, cost, profitability, and direction of the Retail Team while ensuring the highest level of guest engagement.
The Retail Coordinator is required to lead the team to drive service and sales delivery at In Park Services, High Tide Store, and any other Raging Waters Sydney Retail Outlets.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Being an ambassador for Raging Waters Sydney and enforcing all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures and those of Palace Entertainment and Parques Reunidos.- To effectively lead the Retail team that includes, Retail Team Leaders and Retail Team Members.- Ensure Team Members are providing quality customer service and sales delivery at In Park Services, High Tide Store, and any other Raging Water Sydney Retail outlets.- Responsible for ensuring the Retail Outlets achieve or exceed sales, KPI’s and profitability goals through effective use of short
- and long-term planning, expense control, sales, and service.- Monitor and maintain correct operating levels as specified in line schedules for all operational days.- Coordinating staffing levels on operational days and nonoperational days utilising Quinyx scheduling system.- Setting service standards and monitoring the delivery of appropriate training to team members that will enable them to deliver superior guest engagement.- Oversee hiring of cabanas and lockers for guests.- Responsible for management of inventory including conducting stocktakes.- Research and develop appropriate product and inventory for retail outlets.- Establish and maintain strong working relationship with suppliers and contractors.- Responsible for ensuring all Team Members accurately process sales using the correct Point of Sale system and handle forms of tender with accuracy and respect.- Establishing, reviewing, and amending the systems, processes and practices that are in place to enable team members to effectively perform their roles.- Manage the team to ensure all operations are performed whilst maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of all services and products.- Ensure service standards are being met and ensure appropriate training of team members is given to enable them to deliver guest engagement.- Ensure systems, process and practices are in place to enable team members to effectively discharge their roles.- Manage the appearance of the Retail outlines areas ensuring displays & signage is professionally presented.- Inspire others to achieve results, establish credibility throughout the organization and maintain a visible leadership role in appropriate industry, community, and business organizations as necessary.- Identification key issues within the business and implement plans to ensure efficiencies are upheld.- Investigate cash variances and communicate to the Cash Office with valid justification.- Managing actual labour costs within salaries and wages budget and/or business performance- Managing and co-ordinating team members where responsibilities include, but are not limited to, resource planning, training, mentoring, recruitment, rostering, performance management and conducting performance reviews.- Responsible for assisting with area cleanliness including sweeping, rubbish pick-up, emptying bins, maintaining birthday & cabana areas and work areas.- To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager or member of the Management Team.
