**ABOUT US**:
Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) is a Queensland Statutory Authority established to regulate the building industry and ensure maintenance of proper building standards and remedies for defective building work.
QBCC also serves to educate, protect and support the community and the Industry via licensing and registers, education, dispute resolution and adjudication, enforcing compliance and managing the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme.
**The aim of this role is to**:
- Process requests for cancellation of cover and refund of premium in accordance with QBCC legislation including investigation, assessment, approval or rejection and preparation of related correspondence.
- Issue notice of cover on receipt of the premium.
- Investigate, assess and process amendments required to notice of cover details.
- Process search requests.
- Reissue and reprint existing notice of cover.
- Issue official receipts for monies received for deposit to the general or Insurance holding account.
- Other administrative functions related to the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme for the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC).
- Undertake other general duties that contribute toward the ongoing improvement of Insurance Services and foster a cohesive team environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all staff of the QBCC and external customers.

- Apply, advise on, and interpret legislation and policy standards to deliver continued high quality customer service.The ability to apply, interpret, provide advice on, and implement legislation and policy in the Building Industry.
- Achieve team goals through participation as an effective member of the team.
- Use effective communication and interpersonal skills in the workplace to achieve high customer service delivery.
