About the Business Unit
The Shared Services Centre (SSC) provides a business support function to both the department and under a service level agreement, to Courts Services Victoria. It is responsible for invoice collection, collation and processing, provides a helpdesk facility across 4 functions, namely accounts payable, purchasing support, supplier setup and maintenance, and supplier portal for external supplier access, as well as providing training across these support functions in the form of online self help tutorials, self help reading material and formal virtual classroom, electronic payment facilities, corporate card facilitation and management, audit response and a suite of reports.
About the Role
The Support Officer Invoice Processing will work within the Invoice Processing Team and will primary conduct all invoice data entry from a variety of sources, invoice validation, coding and matching activities, completed largely as an automated process but may involve some manual intervention and input.

- The ability to develop and maintain administrative office processes and procedures
- The ability to cooperate and work well with others in the pursuit of team goals
- The ability to understand how systems work and how they interact with one another, and use this to solve complex problems
- The ability to resolve problems through policy or process guidelines and escalate issues when required.
Please note there are no mandatory qualifications required for this role however a basic understanding of the data needs for an invoice and basic taxation would be desirable.
