Skilled Invoicing Officer required for busy position commencing in Melbourne CBD on Monday the 13th of November. Up to 6 months in duration.

**The Company**

The organisation are located centrally in Melbourne in the heart of the CBD and with easy access to major public transport links. The business is growing, and this position is a new one within the current finance structure. Very stable and progressive employer who offer full training and scope for growth.

**The Role**

This is temporary position commencing asap and lasting up to 6 months to support the Finance Manager with workload transition.

Things are moving quickly with initial interviews taking place on Friday the 10th of November and the successful applicant commencing by Monday the 13th.

Typical day to day duties will involve:

- Billing and issuing of invoices - high volume
- Daily banking and reconciliations
- Some following up of overdue debt though this is a small component of the position
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Receipting and allocating new incoming payments
- Data entry
- Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc accounts related work as assigned

This is a full-time position with hours worked Monday - Friday in the CBD. It will be based in the office each day.

**Your Profile**

You will have a background in accounting with a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar position. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

- Some experience with accounts receivable duties (banking and receipting)
- Good energy and desire to learn
- Exposure to high volumes of data entry
- Happy to work in the CBD
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable picking up new systems
