The successful applicant will have excellent relationship skills, including a passion for collaborating for change with Mob. The role works across the Northern Rivers region and will require travel to connect with families, stakeholders and communities.**

Family Connect and Support (FCS) is a strength based whole of family referral, information and advice service that supports families, children and young people to thrive. FCS has a Working with Mob Plan which supports culturally safe engagement strategies to ensure First Nations families have access to the service. FCS understands the importance of strengthened family, social and cultural connection.
- a deep understanding of the challenges that face families, children and young people
- the capacity to provide information to mob, families and communities, around supports and system / program navigation
- the ability to think outside of the box
- extensive knowledge and experience to build strong and genuine relationships with Mob
- an ear to the ground and finger on the pulse in community
- established positive connections within the community and strong admin skills to support your work

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

- coordinating the implementation of the objective's strategies and actions of the Working with Mob Plan
- working collaboratively to engage with key stakeholders
- travelling to remote communities across the whole of Bundjalung, Yaegl and Gumbaynggirr country
- leading events in community for FCS
- attend relevant Inter-agencies and actively participate
- share cultural understanding across FCS team
- finding ways to remove barriers to accessing services and support for Mob
