Being your first sales B2B sales role, here are some things you didn't know you had to look for:
Over 95% of reps worldwide are on target.
This means the market really like the product, or the company is realistic with expectations. Either way - this makes the biggest difference you can imagine
You have in house sales trainers, external support and reps worldwide to copy/learn from.
This means you don't have to figure this all out for yourself. The company will set you up for success. You just show up as your high energy, hard working, fun loving self. The rest will sort itself out.
This is the newest region for a global brand - you will make it through to the Account Executive role and not get your career caught in some early traps.

**The Team**:
Are you looking to join a BDR function that’s hyper-focused on internal progression into sales?
Through our dedication to sales training and development, many of Egress’ successful Account Executives have been home-grown right here on the business development team
**The Role**:
- The BDR team are the very beginning of our sales cycle. They are responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and building new business using various methods of outreach such as cold calling, working closely with marketing, or attending events. They are the first point of contact for many of our customers.
- Undertaking strategic analysis to stay up to date with our competitors, target audience and industry trends allowing to better identify prospects more effectively.
- Act as ambassadors for the company and wider sales team working with prospective clients and existing customers to understand their business challenges and to advise on ways in which Egress solutions can address these challenges
