As the Cancer Services Innovations Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving forward our initiatives to improve cancer services delivery and patient outcomes. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify areas for innovation, develop strategic plans, and implement solutions to enhance the quality and efficiency of our services.
**About You**
- You have will have recent experience at a service or organisational level in co-ordinating or reporting on clinical service development, evaluation and/or quality improvement activities.
- You will have strong project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and drive projects to successful completion.
- You have high level writing, business planning, documentation, and policy development skills.
- You have an awareness of the District and NSW Cancer Plans.
**Where you’ll be working**
You will be located within the Cancer Services department at Gosford Hospital. The position builds and supports the Cancer Services team in the LHD and works under the direction Medical Director and Operations Manager, Cancer Service CCLHD. The position provides the important interface between the LHD and the Cancer Institute NSW to drive cancer system improvement.
The position is responsible for facilitating system change to improve cancer system performance in the LHD consistent with the goals and objectives of the District Health Service Development Plan and the NSW Cancer Plan.
The position builds and supports the Cancer Services team in the LHD and works under the direction Medical Director and Operations Manager, Cancer Service CCLHD.
