The Asset and Facility Services team works within an environment of ongoing change with a whole of department scope and the Project Support Officer is responsible for the provision of a flexible and specialised administration support and project management function to ensure the team meets its operational goals and objectives.This is a summary of the role that articulately provides the context of the role The positon involves a high level of confidentiality, discretion, accuracy and is required to communicate appropriately with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders and effectively manage administrative support duties.

The Project Support Officer contributes to meeting the ongoing continuous improvement/directorate objectives through supporting the implementation of asset management initiatives policy and procedures. Ensures the provision of a confidential research and data analysis service to the Manager, Operations Manager and Technical Advisors within Asset and Facility Services and supports the implementation of team projects, initiatives and objectives. Undertakes projects, research and reporting tasks for the Manager and the Asset and Facility Services team as directed. Contributes to the delivery and maintenance of efficient work practices within the Asset Services unit.

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Please note that department employees working in high risk environments are required to maintain up-to-date vaccination against COVID-19, with a TGA Approved Vaccine, or comply with the following reasonable, additional safety measures to mitigate risk in the workplace. Vaccination status must be disclosed and provided for sighting on request.
