The Project Support Officer role is exposed to and has management of sensitive information relating to the protective security activities of the department and requires a high level of confidentiality, discretion and accuracy. The position holder is required to communicate appropriately with a diverse range of clients and worksites and to effectively deliver a range of key support functions to the Security and Emergency Management unit.

The Infrastructure Division works within an environment of ongoing change with a whole of department scope and the Security and Emergency Management unit must be resourced to effectively respond to incidents and emergencies of department-wide or state level significance.

As a consequence, the Project Support Officer, Security and Emergency Management is responsible for the provision of a highly flexible and specialised personal support and incident management functions to ensure the unit meets its operational goals and objectives.

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

ASO3: $65,606 - $69,919
