**About the Role**:
The Curriculum Development directorate within the Curriculum and Learning Division supports teachers to effectively program and teach the three-dimensional Australian Curriculum through the preparation of high-quality curriculum resources.
The directorate is seeking two Business Support Officers to support teams within the Curriculum Development directorate and provide high-quality customer service to internal and external clients.
The Business Support Officers will coordinate and undertake a range of administrative functions across the directorate which facilitate and deliver operational effectiveness, support continuous improvement and contribute to meeting directorate and division goals as well as departmental policies. The roles will also coordinate or assist with the preparation of high-quality correspondence, briefings and submissions, and provide advice on administrative policies, procedures and systems.
The Business Support Officer position will be contracted until the end of December 2023, with possibility of an extension of up to 3 years.
The Business Support Officer - Early Years position will be contracted until the end of June 2024, with possibility of extension.
**Desired skills**:
- Demonstrated high-level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in administration and document management
- Experience with budget, financial, procurement and human resources systems and processes
- Proven government knowledge and experience (desired)
**Special Conditions**:
Please note that department employees working in high-risk environments are required to maintain up-to-date vaccination against COVID-19, with a TGA Approved Vaccine. Vaccination status must be disclosed and provided for sighting on request.
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO4: $75,430 - $79,070
(_The remuneration listed applies from the first full pay period on or after 1 August 2023_)
