**About the Role**

The Department for Education, Music Education Strategy, supports the delivery of high-quality classroom and instrumental music learning opportunities for children and young people, through a range of initiatives that enhance music education experiences from preschool to tertiary. Implementation of Music Education Strategy is being led by Curriculum Programs, Curriculum and Learning.
The Project Officer, Music Education Strategy will provide a range of business, administrative, project and management support services to support the effective implementation of the strategy.

**Special Conditions**
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**
ASO4: $75,430 - $79,070 per annum plus superannuation
