**The Role**
This key role will provide a high-level administrative support to Council’s organisational wide prosecutions and regulatory oversite functions, supporting Council in meeting various statutory obligations as an enforcement agency. The Prosecutions Support Officer will deliver for our community by partnering with both internal and external stakeholders in the provision of administrative services relevant to prosecution, internal review, infringement management, municipal fire management program, stakeholder engagement, paralegal and customer service.
**About you**
We are looking for someone who has sound understanding of legal processes, including court procedures, practices and prosecution of cases before the Magistrates Court and the ability to prepare legal documents, ideally with paralegal experience. The ideal person will have strong time management skills, coupled with a good and attention for detail and strong people skills.
