**THE OPPORTUNITY**

As part of our new team based in **Tweed Heads**. Use your strong administrative background in a new environment where you can make a positive impact on someone’s life every day As a Claims Consultant (Case Manager), you will manage your own portfolio of workers compensation claims, supporting people injured in the workplace, guiding them through their recovery as well as their employer.

The **Case Management Specialist **role is a crucial aspect to supporting an injured worker through their recovery and getting their lives back on track. You will be the central point of contact for the injured worker, employer and any stakeholders that are part of the treatment plan to help the injured worker return to employment. As part of the workers compensation process, you will be paying the injured workers wages and any treatments that are approved.

This will be a **permanent** position commencing** July 3**rd** 2023 **based in our **brand new Tweed Heads** office, with flexibility to work from home.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist an injured person and employer with the workers compensation claim process and provide support in the completion of relevant documents
- Make contact in a timely manner with the injured person to ensure access to required services
- Proactively manage the claims process to improve recovery and return to work outcomes for workers who have experienced a workplace injury or illness
- Provide ongoing advice to stakeholders on matters such as injured workers, employers, and providers

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- We’re looking for someone who’s tech savvy with a general understanding of the Microsoft suite
- Excellent verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate with clarity
- Confidence to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as workers, employers and providers
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive team environment
- Passion for resolving conflicts and can handle challenging conversations
