The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our claims team in Sydney, specializing in Emergency Services portfolios. As a Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting injured workers regain their lives. You will be the central point of contact for the injured worker, employer, and stakeholders involved in the treatment plan to facilitate a smooth return to employment.

We are looking for individuals who have recently graduated with a degree in psychology or a similar field within health sciences. If you are seeking a career that utilizes your Allied Health background to make a positive impact, this role is an excellent opportunity.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Tweed office, with flexibility to work from home. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims with a focus on physical and psychological based injuries
  • Building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, doctors, and rehabilitation providers, to facilitate a prompt and safe return to work
  • Implementing active and timely strategies to improve recovery and return to work outcomes
  • Collaborating with our Injury Management Specialists to develop and implement a plan to support the injured worker's return to work journey

About You

  • Allied Health background with experience in customer service is highly desirable
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for helping others and ability to handle challenging conversations
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to think creatively when engaging with stakeholders
  • Empathetic, resilient, and able to work well under pressure
  • Experience managing, negotiating, and influencing positive outcomes
  • You pride yourself on delivering exceptional customer service and have experience building rapport and collaborative relationships with each customer/client
