**Position: New Business Development Manager (Agriculture Industry)**

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven New Business Development Manager to join our client's dynamic team.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for securing new, high-value clients nationwide within specialized industry. Your primary focus will be on businesses who require specialized industrial equipment to enhance their productivity and efficiency.

Right now we are looking for National Level New Sales specialists with experience and contacts in either Fixed Mining, Agriculture, Food & Bev Manufacturing or Fluid Power Solutions.

The business has an already strong presence, with a range that covers Hydraulics and Fluid Power Solutions, Industrial Hoses, Bearing and Drive shafts. (and more)

This position presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to our client's business success.

Some perspective, this role sits outside (and above) their state based BDM network. It is specifically tailored to suit someone who has the experience and contacts to enable them to land the big fish

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and target prospective clients within the agriculture sector, emphasizing businesses engaged in food and crop production and requiring specialized industrial equipment.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and exceed revenue targets.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in potential client organizations.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, growth opportunities, and areas for competitive advantage.
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals, effectively showcasing the unique value proposition of our client's industrial equipment.
- Negotiate contract terms, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements, and successfully close deals with new clients.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to facilitate seamless onboarding and ensure successful implementation of new client accounts.

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record in new business development, preferably within the agriculture industry or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one of the sectors named above, specifically food and crop production, and familiarity with industrial equipment tailored to these industries.
- Extensive network and connections within the agriculture sector, with a focus on acquiring high-value clients.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or surpass sales targets and drive tangible results.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and thrive in a competitive sales environment.
- Willingness to travel nationally as required.
