- 26/03/2024In this role you will be responsible for:

- Progressing complex projects involving cytometry to logical endpoints
- Managing high-end cytometry infrastructure and ensuring it remains fit for purpose.
- Involvement in grant writing and funder engagement
- Independently implementing and coordinating cellular analysis activities that will support the vision of senior management, including:

- Maintaining and servicing collaborations
- Developing and maintaining close industrial partnerships
- Providing high-end cytometric training
- Supervising junior staff

**To succeed you will have**
- Extensive expertise and real-world experience in high dimensional flow cytometry including a deep understanding of novel approaches including spectral and Fluorescence lifetime
- Extensive expertise and real-world experience in multiomic single cell analysis cytometry
- Proven ability to analyse complex datasets using existing and emerging bioinformatic tools.
- Engineering background with proven ability to develop protocols from first principles.
- Proven ability to develop new analytical techniques.
- Prior experience working in large Liquid biopsy programs.
- Prior experience in cytometry service deliver
- preferably in a busy core facility.
- Microfluidics experience.
- Experience working with non-traditional cytometry samples such as CSF.
- Exceptional time management skill, ability to independently manage competing goals and individual stakeholders.
- Highly skilled communications and must be capable of always maintaining a professional demeanour.
- 7 year post Phd.

Desirable:

- Automation experience
- Understanding of LIMS
