**The Opportunity**

Join our dynamic team of experienced professionals as a Business Development Lead focused on growing Engineering Services within Ventia’s Resources & Industrial Services business. In this role you will be responsible for identifying and guiding strategic opportunities to drive engagement and growth with a portfolio of our key clients.

This role will deliver on strategic pursuits and leveraged growth of existing contract relationships for Ventia’s full range of services with a focus on advanced engineering, asset performance and project services.

Flexibility in your primary work location is available, including between our well-located Parramatta and North Sydney offices. The option to be based at other key office locations such as Melbourne or Brisbane will be considered for the right applicant.

**What You’ll Do**
- Lead in building our culture of client focus and delivering value through solutions, to grow our business.
- Drive focused development and enhancement of Strategic Account Management Plans for specified customers.
- Develop and build strong client relationships.
- Identify and develop leads and specific opportunities for new contracts including extensions/expansions of existing contracts.
- Ensure Ventia is engaged early with customers, steering the development and implementation of winning strategies.

**About you**

This opportunity will suit you if you are:

- Tertiary qualified within an engineering discipline.
- Experienced in tendering processes, contracts, operations and commercial outcomes.
- Confident in client engagement and negotiation in a technical engineering context.
- Commercially astute and able to drive commercial outcomes.
