The Role

As part of the Business Development team, you will be working closely with the regional sales and marketing teams to generate sales accepted leads via multiple channels with a mix of inbound (lead follow-up) and outbound (prospecting) activities.

As a Team lead for Business Development, you will be responsible for gathering intelligence and developing a deep understanding of your assigned accounts, as well as assisting employees with your team and acting as a mentor.

You will work closely with both Account Management and Marketing to define and execute a successful account-based sales strategy for the ANZ region.

Your day-to-day- Supports team manager and assists with management duties when manager is absent or out of office- Qualify and develop inbound and outbound sales accepted leads and respond to product inquiries- Manage cold-calling telephone-based campaigns to generate new sales prospects- Identifies and creates strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals- Creates and implements training materials, documentation, and resources to support the organization- Maintains a direct overview of department KPI’s and accountability metrics- Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks- Spends time teaching, training, and coaching members of the BDR team to increase individual performance- Follow-up on all leads generated by marketing and convert initial interest into sales accepted leads-
- Schedule meetings between Sales team members and potential customer- Manage various campaigns to generate new sales prospects

What You Bring To The Team- Highly motivated individual with a competitive personality, and good attention to detail- Previous experience with solutions that can be deployed in private or public clouds a plus-
- Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) as well as organisational skills- Previous experience working and succeeding in a goal-driven environment preferred- Academic qualifications Degree level educated or equivalent experiences.- Fluent English and any additional language skills required, and any additional languages are a plus
