As our Business Development (BD) Lead you will drive new and existing business opportunities through our BD engine, working closely with our Directors to secure a sustainable pipeline of impactful projects. You will have an opportunity to grow your role as the practice grows and craft this role into your own career path.

**Picture yourself in the role**

Working in a diverse team of Directors & seniors, you’ll be leading opportunities through our BD engine. From sales enquiry through to polishing our pitches, building BD collateral (e.g case studies) and delivering that winning proposal, you’ll proactively take the next action required to lead the team in securing a pipeline of impactful projects.

**If you were here this week you would have**:

- Reviewed & updated our BD dashboard which you own & drive to track our progress towards quarterly targets.
- Run a BD team stand-up meeting with our Directors & other team members to prioritise & focus the team on key actions for the week.
- Headed to existing or potential new clients’ offices to provide an overview of our service offering over lunch or online.
- Followed up with customers on previously sent quotes to get the deal across the line or keep the opportunities alive.
- Worked with our client in the early stages of engagement to form a detailed understanding of their needs & pain points and work collaboratively with Directors (& others across teams) to develop a winning pitch.
- Supported our Directors to prepare detailed proposals, tenders & RFQ submissions for major projects.
- You also continue to think deeply about how you might scale the team - by improving our “ways of working”, coaching our wider team, developing new templates, bringing in new capabilities, technologies & beyond.

**Requirements**:
**Who you are**
- You have 3-5 years experience working in technology consulting, technology procurement or BD for a technology/digital agency (ideally from an established firm with a history of successful work with ASX 100 clients). From these experiences, you’ve developed extensive industry knowledge & networks.
- You’re excited to combine your skills in consulting with our expertise in technology & agility to help our clients gain the most value from our services.
- You’re known for your ability to take ownership and deliver results in challenging, dynamic, client-facing environments. You have a proven track record of developing new leads and converting existing leads.
- You’re a confident communicator, who is happy picking up the phone and giving impromptu descriptions of our consulting services to potential clients. You’re also an empathetic listener who enjoys understanding clients’ true pain points and needs and can align these to solutions.
- You’re an effective writer who can confidently collaborate with our Directors, put together a pitch deck, write-up a case study or help shape a winning proposal.
