Our Federal Government client is currently seeking a capable and experienced individual to join them on a short-term contract basis as a Governance Coordinator. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the efficient and compliant operation of our Division by supporting key executives and officers in various governance and coordination related tasks.

**Responsibilities**:
As the Governance Coordinator, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities, including:

- Assisting the Senior Policy Officer in the development, implementation, evaluation, and review of governance-related processes, registers, plans, and reports.
- Supporting the Assistant Director of Strategy and Governance in the development of Senate Estimates briefs and coordinating responses to Questions on Notice.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
We are looking for a dedicated and collaborative individual with the following skills and qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role, at either an APS4 or APS5 level would be highly regarded.
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish and nurture positive relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Independent planning and prioritisation abilities within a fast-paced environment, meeting critical deadlines.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills, tailored to various audiences, along with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance.
- The capability to interpret and enhance standards, policies, and procedures to provide valuable advice and ensure operational efficiency.
