Initial 6 month contract with strong potential for a long term engagement One of Hudson's key Government clients is looking for an experienced, high performing **APS6 Divisional Coordinator**. You will be working within a Branch responsible for providing strategic policy advice and delivering programs that support the delivery of communications services to all Australians. Delivering policy solutions and programs, providing advice to Ministers and the Executive, you will work with a range of stakeholders including the telecommunications industry and state and territory governments.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparation of briefs and other written material on regional connectivity programs
- Ministerial responses and executive departmental replies
- Develop and coordinate enquiries for input across the branch, division and group
- Meeting organisation
- Other duties in the administration of policy and programs managed by the section as required

To be successful for shortlisting, you must have:

- Policy/program experience within federal government
- Well-developed writing skills with the ability to draft a range of documentation including input into briefing and ministerial correspondence
- Strong organisation skills including good time management and an ability to balance competing priorities
- Highly developed communication skills with the ability to build relationships and liaise with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Abillity to work independently and taking initiative to manage own work flows
