**About this role**:
Working within Queensland Rail’s MPI team, this initial 12month role will see you lead the program management (safely, on time, minimising risk and ensuring quality outcomes) of operational readiness for the ETCS project. It is an exciting time to join QLD Rail with huge growth on the horizon as we get ready for Olympics 2032 and beyond
**You can expect some of the responsibilities of the role to include**:
- Lead the program management for operational readiness with in the ETCS project
- Ensure stakeholder expectations and multi-disciplinary interfaces are managed
- Develop and maintain a strategic program plan, monitoring and reporting on the program status
- Ensure all business aligned assurance is adhered to throughout the program
**Some of what you will bring to the role**:
- High level of experience in the delivery of all aspects of program and project management
- High level of skill in leading and managing a team
- High level of skill in effective decision making for program delivery strategies
- Extensive knowledge of the relevant policy and legislation impacting the provision of the program/project
- Extensive skills in communication and stakeholder management
