To effectively drive consistent and best practice injury and claims management practices with the Injury Management Advisors to ensure the development and implementation of strategies which drive consistent delivery of superior rehabilitation and injury management performance across IFNSW (TMF) claims operations. To provide ongoing staff development as required.

Manager, Injury Management- Hybrid role - 2 days in office, 3 WFH- Insurance and retail discounts from Day 1- 18 weeks gender equal parental leave, with super.

The opportunity

Lead a high performing team of Injury Management Specialists to drive quality and performance across our NSW Nominal Insurer Workers Compensation business.

Your new role

As our Manager, Injury Management, you will have the opportunity to drive performance, culture, and collaboration across your team of Injury Management Specialists, our frontline claims team and external stakeholders. With the customer at the heart of everything you do; your role will have a direct impact in the level of service and care our injured workers and customers receive. Your role will include:
- Identify and drive strategic opportunities for coaching, performance improvement, and quality management of claims.- Drive a culture of performance, collaboration and quality within the injury management team and broader claims team.- Monitor, review and report on performance and quality to ensure that projects and initiatives are making meaningful improvements.- Collaborate with external stakeholders and service partners to promote two-way feedback and collaboration injury management performance.

About you

With your extensive experience in injury management and passion for people leadership, you will be able to provide extensive experience across our workers compensation business. More specifically, to be successful in this role, you will bring:
Extensive experience in workers compensation, with an in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation.- Experience in managing contractual performance obligations across teams.- Experience managing teams, with a core focus on collaborative and agile teamwork.- Sound problem solving abilities including project managing proposed solutions or innovations.- Experience working with regulators and external service providers.- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
