The Central Coast Local Health District is seeking an Aboriginal Health Services Manager for our Aboriginal Pregnancy and Child and Family Health Service NGIYANG. NGIYANG provides culturally sensitive pregnancy care, early child development, immunisation, parenting support, education and referrals.

**About You**
- You have a genuine understanding of the issues and health needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and of current legislative requirements, policies and practice in relation to these issues.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, consult and negotiate effectively with senior executives, management, health staff, and external stakeholders including high level oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with management level qualifications, or you are working towards acquiring your qualification, and have relevant experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

**Where You'll Be Working**

The Aboriginal Health Services Manager Ngiyang is responsible for the coordination of client services and management of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the provision of high quality midwifery and child and family health service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across CCLHD. This position is to ensure cultural sensitivity is paramount in service delivery. NGIYANG is a free service available to all Aboriginal families living on the Central Coast, and offer home visits and clinic appointments.

This position is based at Tuggerah.
