About you:
- Are you experienced in providing support in relation to issues in pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period?
- Do you have experience working with families who have young children?
- Are you passionate about Aboriginal history and have a strong understanding of current health issues impacting Aboriginal families and children?

What you'll be doing
- You will be responsible for providing culturally sensitive support to pregnant women and their families during pregnancy, facilitating informal support groups and facilitating access to appropriate services.
- This position also works towards improving health outcomes and wellbeing of Aboriginal families on the Central Coast with young children (05 years of age) by providing culturally sensitive care navigation for the family.
- You will be responsible for providing care via telephone, telehealth where available, home visits and hospital and/or community settings.
- The Aboriginal Health Worker works in partnership with the family and with Registered Midwives in the antenatal and post
