**About You**
- You have demonstrated experience working with children and families or carers, and familiarity with contemporary mental health service delivery models, including crisis intervention and family intervention.
- You have demonstrated experience in psychological interventions in community mental health including knowledge of psychopharmacological treatments, side effects and family interventions.
- Qualifications in mental health-related discipline: AHPRA Registered Nurse, Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist with three years post registration experience in mental health, Social Worker eligible for membership of AASW or Bachelor Degree Counselling or Community Welfare with three years post graduate experience in mental health.

**What you'll be doing**

The Aboriginal Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Worker will contribute the case management and clinical co-ordination for Aboriginal parents, children and young people who present with complex mental health problems. The Aboriginal Child and Adolescent Mental Health Worker gives priority to coordination of recovery, providing expert clinical services in collaboration with consumers, carers, and other care providers, using an integrated and person-centred approach.

The successful applicant will have experience working with consumers and families, including mental health assessment, screening, care coordination, case review and management of complex needs.

You will also work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise your workload to meet competing demands. Your ability to formulate risk assessments regarding the risk of harm to self or others and develop safety plans will be essential to your success in this role. You will be a team player with high level time management skills that values lifelong learning and the provision of excellent care for patient, families, and carers.
