Redpath Partners are partnering exclusively with one of Melbourne's leading Retail & Commercial Property Agencies as a rare opportunity has arisen for a senior operative to step into the ' Head of Leasing ' role within their leadership team.

Currently the portfolio is primarily retail focused, with at least 20 + neighbourhood shopping centres under management. In saying that, this role will include both static and project leasing duties, as three separate projects have just received approval.

As the Head of Leasing, you will be responsible for the mentorship and development of one junior leasing agent, alongside the following day - to - day responsibilities below:

- Identify and secure new commercial & retail tenants
- Negotiation of lease terms & conditions with tenants
- Management of the leasing process from start to finish, including lease renewals
- Continue to build & maintain relationships with all internal & external stakeholders
- Develop & implement leasing strategies
- Keeping abreast of market trends & industry developments

To be considered for this role, ideally you will have a minimum of 8 + years of experience in commercial and retail leasing, with a proven track record of success in securing and retaining tenants.

You will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work under pressure.
