The School of Information and Physical Sciences, within the College of Engineering, Science and Environment, is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from applicants who are interested in working on a casual academic basis in 2024.

Casual academic tasks may include:

- Sessional lecturing
- Tutoring
- Demonstrating
- Delivering integrated learning and practical activities
- Marking
- Student consultation
- This casual position located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land)._

**How will you inspire us?**

Our casual academic staff play a large role in contributing to the achievement of our strategic

objectives, particularly our strong commitment to an exceptional student experience and our high-quality innovative teaching and learning practices_._

Positions exist within the Disciplines of Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Data Science and Computing and IT.

You will have:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline.
- Familiarity with teaching and learning pedagogies at the tertiary level.
- Computer, administrative and record keeping skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Effective interpersonal skills with a proven capacity to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of professionalism, act with direction and maintain confidentiality.
