The Student Wellbeing Unit is tasked with ensuring that students have access to an integrated and coordinated program of support for non-academic matters. The focus of this unit is on proving health, wellbeing, mental health services and support for students with a disability or mental health conditions. These AccessAbility and Wellbeing initiatives help students navigate a smooth and successful journey throughout their studies.

**Be challenged and imagine with us**:
As Student Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high quality administrative support to the Student Wellbeing unit.

In this role you will:

- Provide appropriate and timely support for students requiring assistance
- Assist with financial processes and procedures including purchasing and invoicing
- Provide administrative support, including organisation of meetings, and preparation of agendas and minutes

This continuing position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land).

- Experience in administration, customer service, or similar
- Strong technological skills and the ability to learn new systems
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills

**What we offer**:
The remuneration for this position is from $65,591 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.

- Completion of an associate diploma or certificate level qualification with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and or education and training
- High level of proficiency in using Microsoft suite of products

- Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to participate in a team environment demonstrating clear communication and mutual respect.
- Commitment to the provision of ‘best practice’ in relation to supporting students within the higher education environment
- Knowledge of, and experience in adhering to workplace policies and procedures in the areas of work health safety, equity, diversity and promoting a respectful workplace culture.
