In this role you will be responsible for but not limited to:

- Being the primary point of contact for Wollotuka Higher Degree Research.
- Providing high quality administrative support to academic staff on a range of research projects and undertakings.
- Supporting stakeholder engagement and communication through social media content creation and management, as well as event development, planning and coordination.
- Showing commitment to the development of strong organisational and professional knowledge, as well as embracing new technologies and processes
- Identifying initiatives and making recommendations to support research success.

**What we offer**

The remuneration for this position is from $82,707 FTE plus 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.

**Essential Criteria**
- Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14 of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
- A relevant degree and subsequent experience in an administrative or project support role; or extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in an administrative field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and knowledge and understanding of the successes and issues relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills including the capacity to build relationships and an interdisciplinary way of working.
- High level administrative and financial skills and proven successful experience in the preparation of reports.
- Previous relevant experience in the maintenance of records, interpretation of policies and implementation of guidelines
- Knowledge of, and experience in adhering to workplace policies and procedures in the areas of work health safety, equity, diversity and promoting a respectful workplace culture

**Desirable Criteria**

Knowledge of university systems and processes, and experience providing support in a research-intensive environment will also be highly regarded.
