We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly motivated team player to join the Library's Content and Discovery Team. This role is a great entry point for a career within the Library and provides an opportunity to work flexibly across a range of services.

**Be challenged and imagine with us**:
As the Library Officer, Content and Discovery, you will provide functional and technical support for the acquisition, management, and access to scholarly information resources.

In this role you will:

- Support scholarly publishing, and acquisitions.
- Support learning and research by maintaining digital course reading lists.
- Provide access to scholarly information resources including via our inter-library loans service.
- This 1-year fixed term position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land)._

**What we offer**:
The remuneration for this position is from $65,591 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.

- Completion of an associate diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and accurately search databases for bibliographic verification and sourcing of resources, including publisher and online websites and other relevant systems.
- Knowledge of best practices in and the ability to use systems and services for inter library resource sharing and high demand digital course readings in an academic education environment, including knowledge of relevant provisions of the Copyright Act.
- Developed interpersonal skills including the ability to positively participate in a team environment demonstrating clear communication and mutual respect.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise work, manage time and workloads, solve problems and maintain attention to detail when managing competing demands from multiple stakeholders
