About the Client
Our client is an Australian luxury brand, showcasing handcrafted accessories focusing on functionality and timelessness. Since their establishment in 2013, the brand has grown, reaching international audiences. They are currently seeking a Wholesale Sales Manager with a background in fashion or retail.
Career Overview
Reporting to the GM, this Wholesale Sales Manager will be results driven and demonstrate previous experience in a similar capacity within leading contemporary Australian and International fashion brands. A key to success will be a clear appreciation and understanding for how brands need to build and showcase long term appeal within the global marketplace.
You will have the ability to accurately identify and secure new suitable retail accounts in both Australia and International target markets, including but not limited to UK, EU, Middle East and USA.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Management of the brand's key long-term global wholesale accounts, further establishing the brand's position and exclusive retail footprint.
- Strong buyer relationship management.
- Preserve a consistent brand presence with key accounts, whilst evolving each account's respective brand offering and growing each relationship to ensure the highest value from the partnership, including pop-up activations and category expansion both directly with buyers, and in conjunction with any sales associates or showroom representatives.
- Researching and introducing new strategic relationships with aligned retailers to elevate the brand across the international marketplace and enhance the brand's marketing initiatives.
- Supported by the GM you will drive the development and strategic growth of new retail relationships with aligned current global retailers.
- Curate and present seasonal range offerings to buyers, including any new offerings or injections through the season.
- Awareness of new emerging markets and opportunities
- Ensure sales targets are exceeded each season, via evolving existing relationships including offering curated market relevant buys and presentation.
