**Wholesale Account Manager/Business Development (Energy Storage Systems)**

**Location: This regional field-based role requires frequent and, on occasion, significant travel across NSW (including ad-hoc interstate travel as per business needs)**

**Schedule: Usual working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (with flexibility for out of hours cover for industry events and overnight stays etc.)**

**Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 pa DOE + commission structure**

**Driving Licence: A full valid driving licence is required, and a company vehicle will be provided**

**Experience Level: Due to the nature of the role, a good level of experience in a similar position is required. Knowledge of the renewable energy industry and selling to its distributors and wholesalers would be preferable**

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a globally established, leading energy storage manufacturer. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Australia, primarily you’ll be out and about in the field working with our existing distributor and electrical wholesale partners and securing new business opportunities to support our growth.

Key Accountabilities Include:

- Generating leads and expanding our distributor network.
- Defining and strategising market territories for maximum impact.
- Turning opportunities into meaningful business growth.
- Engaging in productive client meetings, showcasing our renewable energy solutions.

- Fostering strong and lasting client relationships through consistent communication and service levels.
- Following up diligently on leads and opportunities,
- Negotiation on pricing and agreements to close new business deals, driving revenue growth.
- Providing regular updates and reports to the Managing Director, informing them of progress, challenges and other relevant feedback.
- Being a brand ambassador networking at various industry shows, fairs and events.

- Confidence and credibility with a strong network of whole/distributor contacts within the electrical/energy storage industry.
- Demonstrated ability in B2B account management, showcasing strategic thinking and relationship-building prowess.
- Expertise in managing the complete sales cycle with a track record of consistent activity, growth and exceeding targets.
- An understanding of the needs and expectations of the wholesaler/distributor market.
- An understanding of battery storage systems and related products in the competitor market, including technical specifications, benefits and trends.
- Strong negotiation skills to achieve favourable deals for both the company and our stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in IT tools and the ability to adapt to new software and systems.
