Join our team as a Lead Practice Partner

As a Lead Practice Partner, you will lead the State’s practice improvement team, providing expert guidance on all aspects of quality ECEC. Your role will be pivotal in delivering nationally consistent and targeted teaching and learning support.

We are looking for a dedicated leader who is committed to enhancing the quality of ECEC and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

**Your Impact**:
Provide strong leadership and advocacy for the practice improvement team.
Ensure the team is well-equipped to support the quality practice uplift journey.
Oversee the delivery of the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework to an exceeding standard.
Analyse practice data for each centre and present recommendations to State Managers on Quality Improvement Plan actions.
Lead Practice Partners to deliver high-quality and consistent practice through effective coaching and modelling.
Provide leadership, coaching, and coordination of state practice improvement teams, utilising Quality Rating Scales (QRS) and accredited frameworks such as EYLF and NQS.
Spend time in centres (approximately 25% of centres per quarter) to observe and validate teaching and learning strategies.

**You’ll bring to the table**:
Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognised university.
Extensive and recent practice-based early childhood teacher education experience (aged birth to 8 years).
Strong understanding of the A&R process and the Exceeding Themes
Experience in delivering high quality training to centre based teams
Experience in supporting practice uplift with centre based teams.
Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, other State based approved/recognised learning guidelines and the National Quality Standard.
Sound understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Excellent communication, organisational, evaluation and team leadership skills
