Payroll/accounts Assistant

**Payroll/Accounts role;**
This well established company have very low turnover of staff. Located in pleasant offices at Alexandria with on-site parking provided and cafes close by. You will have clear and confident communication skills, experience with Payroll, payroll tax and have experience with Bank Reconciliations.
This position is a 9 x day fortnight however if you would prefer the same hours spread over a 10 x day fortnight, that can be accomodated.
**Payroll Duties**: (approx 50% of the role)
- Payroll - Monthly; MYOB and Xero (2 entities). Approx 10 employees in each entity
- Payroll - Fortnightly; Xero (1 entity) approx. 50 employees
- Single Touch payroll obligations
- Superannuation - monthly all entities
- Payroll tax - monthly, one consolidated group made up of 2 entities
- Workers compensation
- Annual and Long Service Leave reports
- Year-end reconciliations - earnings/tax/super/payroll tax/workers compensation
**Accounts Payable Duties**: (approx 40% of role)
- Maintaining/updating register of payables for all entities (approx. 15) for pay runs
- Entering of invoices into Payables
- Processing of payments: 2 x pay runs a week plus ad-hoc requests.
- Reconciling statements
- Carrying out of all filing and maintaining files
Accounts Receivable Duties:
- Raising of standard monthly invoices - 1 entity only
- Processing daily receipts
- Reconciling statements
Accounting Duties:
- Monthly bank reconciliations - approx. 20 entities
Other Duties:
- Boardroom preparation
- Board report preparation and sending out
- Ordering and fulfilling stationery and kitchen supplies
- Collecting mail from PO - weekly
- Going to bank - ad hoc
- Maintaining Archives
- Other ad - hoc
**Job Type**: Permanent
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
