**Description**

Typically, your day will consist of serving customers 'face to face", processing orders, providing technical advice to customers, quotations and overall customer service. As time goes on, there will also be the opportunity to manage and service larger customers with site visits, order deliveries and new product demonstrations.

This role will be situated at their Thomastown store with easy access to public transport and parking. There may be the occasional requirement for work at their Richmond location too.

Responsibilies include:

- Service both retail & trade customers in a timely & friendly manner.
- Create opportuities to increase existing customers spend
- Participate actively in sales meetings with an aim to increase sales across two sites.
- Make outbound calls to new potential clients to increase store traffic as well as make appointments when you leave the office.
- Invoicing for goods purchased with small and large accounts
- Ensure that all data in MYOB is accurate. This includes all quotes, orders & invoices.
- Ensure that banking/invoicing procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Complete a cyclic stock take once a week.
- Maintain a high standard of general house-keeping on sight

**Profile**

Reporting to the GM and working as part of a tight, fun loving team, to be successful in this position, your profile would look like:

- You will have a proven and committed sales focus and be prepared to exceed customer expectations
- Outstanding customer service skills that come naturally and authentically
- Possess outstanding customer service skills
- Trade counter sales or time on a trade site will be highly beneficial
- Be well presented, have a good phone manner and possess good communication skills
- You must be able to work with mínimal supervision and have an eye for detail and the capacity to meet deadlines and follow tasks to completion
- You must perform at your peak under pressure and be able to make quick and correct decisions when needed
- Ability to confidentially engage with customers on their trade sites as you visit them with stock and provide stock demonstrations
- A roll up your sleeves mentality where everyone works as a team and contribute
- A great attitude with willingness to learn and work as part of a highly effective team
