Stamford Hotels and Resorts is currently seeking a **Human Resources Coordinator** to join our Human Resources (HR) Team that works across two hotels: Stamford Grand Adelaide and Stamford Plaza Adelaide.

**The Role**

This is a generalist role with a wide range of responsibilities, including: recruitment, work health and safety, payroll and general HR administration.

Your day to day activities will be:

- Monitor and maintain internal HR systems, ensuring the timely processing of requests, escalating or providing support as required
- Coordinate staff training and development
- Organising and actively participating in WHS initiatives and committee meetings
- Manage workers compensation claims and return to work
- Provide support on all HR transactional issues and administrative support
- Providing support with the coordination of day to day operation of HR functions as on-boarding, learning and development, performance management, recruitment and general HR administration
- Champion employee well-being projects

**About you**
- Previous experience in a comparative role, coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, time-management and a can-do attitude
- Knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Strong ability to establish and maintain working relationships with staff at all levels of the organisation
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in the face of changing organisational priorities
