The Lead HR Business Partner is a relationship-based role that contributes as an effective partner with leaders, teams and people to provide efficient, solution-focused and innovative human resource services that support the Department of Human Services to deliver strategies, programs, systems and services to the South Australian Community. This role is responsible for:
1. Leading the provision of effective business partnering, and fostering a team of trusted advisors to the business, who use their expertise to shape both strategic and operational advice to meet business needs.
2. Leading and developing HR Business Partners to be strategic partners, adding value to the business through client-focused HR consultancy and advisory services.
3. Building the capability of the HR Business Partnership team through coaching and mentoring, providing performance feedback and encouraging personal and career development.
4. Initiating, developing and managing strong and trusting partnerships with leaders to identify critical human resource opportunities and challenges, and influence, empower and coach leaders to develop and implement innovative and pragmatic solutions on a broad range of people matters.
5. Providing timely and accurate metrics and reports to leaders, and undertake analysis of data to identify trends and outcomes to enable effective decision making.
6. Planning, coordinating and managing a range of change management projects and initiatives, meeting business requirements that deliver timely, practical and innovative solutions across the business.
7. Preparing and/or coordinating complex submissions, reports, ministerial and other briefs, periodic and ad hoc reporting as required by executive, management or other Government stakeholders.
8. Participating in senior management forums working on divisional level strategic planning and development of business plans, which include service planning, design and workforce resourcing.
