**About the Role**

Northern Beaches is expanding in 2024, opening a further 30 bed in-patient ward. The ward will operate a dynamic mix of both public and private medical and surgical care. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to build a new team with a unique model of care. Ideally you will have recent experience managing a medical and/or surgical ward and you will be motivated by providing only the very best evidence-based care, with patients always at the centre of your decision-making.

This is a fantastic opportunity to put into practice YOUR vision for how a ward can operate with none of the pre-existing issues that come from an established department. You will be part of dynamic and supportive senior team in the hospital.

In this role, you will have:

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years’ clinical care experience in a relevant speciality

Desirable Qualifications:

- Postgraduate qualification in Leadership and Management or a relevant clinical specialty
- Experience in managing a department (including acting or deputising into the Manager role)
- Experience in both the private healthcare sector
